The Hike Up Arctic Valley

The plants are wet
The ground is muddy
Most of us walk with a buddy
Most of us are drenched in sweat
The rain drops and drops
The wind it never stops

I thought it would be easy
I changed my mind
When I saw the big wind
When we were halfway up I was wheezy
Then we sat down
Then someone said "up" and I got a frown

now on the descent
I'll always remember the time we spent
